About the event

As a Physician Assistant for both the Children's Spina Bifida Clinic and the Adult Spina Bifida Clinic in Pittsburgh, Darcie Petrillo has the unique experience of working with patients and families as they navigate the transition from pediatric to adult health care. During this presentation, Darcie will discuss:

  • Maximizing independence
  • Making the most of your medical appointments
  • Supportive decision-making
  • Planning for the future
  • Getting established with adult providers
